Drowning in credit debt… how do people deal with this

How did you even get to 150K? Most people don’t have that much credit available, let alone max it out. What happened?

At some point, you knew it was a bad idea but kept spending anyway. Now you want advice on how to fix it?

Thanks… financial stress is really weighing on me.

Do you own a house? If so, selling it and renting might be an option. 150K is a lot to pay off just from income alone.

Most people don’t deal with credit card debt at this level. How did this happen?

Not everyone gets into debt by being irresponsible. A lot of people lost jobs during the pandemic and had no choice but to put expenses on credit cards.

@Hart
How long are people gonna blame the pandemic? For two years, the government was literally handing out money to people who lost jobs.

Not everyone had enough to cover everything. A lot of people used credit cards for rent, food, and basic needs.

Inflation is just a corporate excuse. They’re making record profits while blaming ‘rising costs.’

I put a ton of money into crypto and then lost my wallet password. The funds are just stuck there.

Never borrow money for crypto or gambling.

Are you sure there’s no way to recover the password?
