Sorry to say, but it’s not worth it. Even if you win in court, collecting from her will be a nightmare. Just treat yourself to a nice meal for being a good guy, then move on and forget about it.
I’d say cut your losses and move on. $1600 hurts, but at least you’re not stuck co-parenting with her.
Make sure to check if her state honors judgments from yours. I got a judgment against my ex, but he moved to a state that wouldn’t honor it, and I lost $4,000.

This seems more like trying to get back at your ex than actually recovering the money. Next time, get the money upfront if that’s how you want to manage things.
